BEYOND FEAR Begin Recording Debut Album

September 2, 2005

BEYOND FEAR, the brand new hard-hitting metal outfit founded by current ICED EARTH and former JUDAS PRIEST vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens have entered an Ohio studio to begin recording their debut album for SPV Records, tentatively due in early 2006. "Things are going real good," Owens said. "Eric [Elkins; CRYPTKICKER, ALL YOU FEAR] nailed his drum parts. The guitar parts are sounding heavy and John [Comprix; SPAWN, 13 FACES] and Dwayne [Bihary; MISSING SKIN] are nailing them. And [bassist] Dennis [Hayes; ex-WINTERS BANE, SEVEN WITCHES] sounds as good as ever. Mr. Jim Morris [producer] is keeping us in line, and up way too late. We should finish drums, bass and rhythm guitars this week, then do the short tour [with JON OLIVA'S PAIN and SAVATAGE axeman Chris Caffery] and come back and go at it again."

Songtitles set to appear on BEYOND FEAR's as-yet-untitled debut include "I Don't Need This", "And You Will Die", "It Is Me", "Telling Lies", "The Faith", "The Human Race", "Your Time Has Come" and "My Last Words".

BEYOND FEAR's Metal Insurgence Tour 2005, also featuring JON OLIVA'S PAIN (led by SAVATAGE mastermind Jon Oliva) and CHRIS CAFFERY'S FACES (solo project of SAVATAGE guitarist Chris Caffery) will kick off on September 9 in Celeveland, Ohio.
